white as snow actually exposes what has gone unseen

The first snow has been and blessed us with a beautiful display of fresh, clean covering over the dying autumn leaves. But while I was walking, I noticed cobwebs on the traffic lights that were hung and gathered which I’d not been able to see before. This caused me to remember that when God’s Word tells us that He will make us white as snow, this could cause things that has previously gone unnoticed and unseen, to be exposed.

We need to ensure that we are not discouraged when what has previously been unknown/unseen to us, starts to show up. This is stuff that we need to deal with so that we can start getting rid of stuff that no longer or has never served us. There will always be things that we need to learn and unlearn so it could seem discouraging, but this is all part of growing. So don’t give up learning (and unlearning) and allow exposure in your life and heart to know the truth of the what’s really there..

John 3v19-21: ¹⁹ This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. ²⁰ Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. ²¹ But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

As we move further into darkness, our Light needs to be plugged into the Mains to shine bright.

If we think of a dark space and one light shining, then we notice the light but not much of what it exposes- just that there is a light in the darkness. However, if we have loads of lights together then they are able to light up the space around them so that the environment is exposed.

Who would be scared of snakes if you had no idea they were close and couldn’t see them around you? The ignorance would be bliss (until it bites!). If the environment isn’t exposed to show the reality that we live in, then we have such a limited ability to make wise decisions. The more that we see, the more responsibility we have, and we may not like it as there will be some choices and decisions to make which will cause pain. And when we are in pain we lash out.

But let us not be afraid to be living in Light, and not just on our own, but with each other to fully expose the works of the enemy and reveal Truth. It is necessary for informed choices to be made. And then let us know how to love and be faithful as people lash out and hate from exposure. Jesus is our example and He died for every. single. one.
